As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at our Tilehouse Canning Town showroom, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for customers visiting the showroom. You will assist customers in selecting and purchasing tiles, provides product information, offers design guidance, and ensures exceptional customer satisfaction.

About the Job
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance: Greet customers as they enter the showroom and engage in friendly, helpful conversations. Listen to customers' needs and preferences to understand their tile requirements. Provide expert advice on tile options, styles, colors, sizes, and materials based on customer preferences. Assist customers in making informed decisions by explaining the features and benefits of different tile products.

Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the tile products available in the showroom, including their specifications, applications, and maintenance requirements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new tile arrivals to offer the latest options to customers.

Design Consultation: Collaborate with customers to suggest tile combinations and designs that align with their aesthetic preferences and project requirements. Offer guidance on coordinating different tiles for floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces.

Quoting and Pricing: Provide accurate and transparent pricing information to customers for various tile products. Generate quotes and estimates for customer projects, considering quantities, sizes, and any additional materials required.

Order Processing: Assist customers with placing orders for selected tiles and related products. Ensure accurate order details, including quantities, sizes, and delivery dates.

Showroom Maintenance: Keep the showroom organized, clean, and visually appealing by arranging tiles and displays in an attractive manner. Ensure that product samples are well-maintained and readily accessible to customers.

Customer Support: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or products in a satisfactory manner.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and inquiries using the showroom's database or software. Assist in inventory management by updating stock levels and notifying management of replenishment needs.

Collaboration: Coordinate with colleagues, sales team members, and management to ensure a seamless customer experience.

About You
Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in interior design or related field is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
Knowledge of different tile types, materials, and applications.
Basic computer skills for order processing and database management.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
A keen eye for design and aesthetics.
Prior customer service experience is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical ability to lift and move tile samples.


Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a tile showroom environment, which may require standing, walking, and lifting.
